An Arabic vernacular Beach Bar / Restaurant located on the beach front adjacent to the Burj Al Arab, Mina A’Salam Hotel and Souk Madinat Jumeirah Resort. This location offers infamous, idyllic views from the beach to the horizon beyond. The brief was to maintain, modernize and extend these features based on the restaurant’s original concept. To retro-fit the existing kitchen facilities, provide new guest amenities, enlarge the number of covers for the restaurant and refurbish the external lounge to maximize the Arabic Dining experience.
The building was enlarged to provide high quality guest amenities. Enlarged and modern kitchen facilities now cater for 250 people. Ornate detailing of the Arabic Lounge , the design and consideration to public and private spaces provides a greater appreciation to vistas from the lounge to the beach and beyond.
AAID worked in conjunction with Interior Designers to deliver a detailed design to meet the client’s requirements against various ‘as built’ design and time constraints placed on the project. During the construction and post construction stages AAID switched to a delivery role, to ensure the scheme was completed to meet exceptional client standards and requirements.
