AAID`s Affiliates were appointed to complete a new Bali / Mediterranean style hotel on The Caribbean island of Grenada. AAID Affiliates were involved at early stages of the project, from site investigation and collaborated in the architectural design.
This organic Bali / Mediterranean fusion upscale resort, was to be unique and stand out from any other Caribbean resort on the island. The design links back to its context in the use of local wood, bamboo, with beach sand used for the cement base. Free standing Teak furniture imported from Bali was also used throughout.
This picturesque natural environment is brought to the fore in the building’s design and use of natural materials allowing for a tactile, holistic guest experience, which is a one with its environment.
AAID`s Affiliates again worked closely with the hotel owner and operator to develop to deliver a scheme which met a demanding brief and programme, yet provide an enriching guest experience which appreciates the natural beauty of this Caribbean Island.
